While traveling in India, from South to North, I stayed in Bangalore for a couple of nights. As a solo traveler and digital nomad, I chose a youthful-minded, social and high-tech hotel in outskirts of Bangalore – aloft Bangalore: Fresh Business Hotel located in Cessna Business Park. This was my first experience with aloft hotels.

When I arrived I noticed colorful and playful atmosphere at reception and lounge area of aloft Bangalore Hotel. It doesn’t remind me the seriousness of other hotels but coolness with the urban vibe. On the back is W XYZ Bar, where you can catch a drink while listening to pop music. There is also a pool table to enjoy moments spent in the hotel.

Bedroom and Bathroom in a Loft-like Style
The room is large enough for my solo stay. The nine-foot ceilings with extra-large windows fill the room with natural light and bring airy atmosphere in the loft-like room. You are facing windows, not walls, which is important for my stay in a comfortable way. My view was into the small green area of the hotel and outlying highway.

On the back of the bed wall is “hidden” bathroom. The size is just right! Walk-in shower is in the last part with natural light coming from full-length frosted glass panel. The eco-friendly dispenser doles out super-sudsy bath amenities created by Bliss Spa. In the middle part is the toilet. The toilet and shower can be closed by rolling mirror door to have a privacy. Entering part offers sink with additional amenities. Speakers for your music are not missing for a perfect experience. The mirror is facing wardrobe with a safe.

Nook Restaurant is spacious, colorful filled with pop music. The restaurant offers a variety of Indian and International meals choice. All in buffet style systematically and esthetically organized. I use to eat daily Indian breakfast so in aloft hotel I went for continental choice. I had eggs, fresh vegetable, and fruits accompanied with fresh juice and coffee. The lounge and restaurant are public. During Sunday breakfast was restaurant almost fully occupied.
aloft Room as a high-tech Office
For me, as a digital nomad is necessary to have also great workspace with a reliable internet connection. aloft Bangalore provides fast + free wired and wireless high-speed internet access. Additionally, daylight and view from the working table are other pluses. It was a pleasure to work in my room.

aloft Bangalore offers fully equipped gym where you can recharge or burn calories 24/7. There are free weights and strength machines too. I also went in the mornings before breakfast. Furthermore, next door is a pool for those who prefer swimming or just relaxing and sunbathing.

Above all, most of the staff are young, friendly people in cool uniforms with a smile on their faces. They are attentive as well as helpful. I enjoyed the most attitude of staff, as you feel more like hanging out with them than being served by servers.
In conclusion, this place is for those who love colors, music, great food, gym, and pool but want stay productive at the same time. The right place for me!
